Fake made in Italy destroying employment and stealing precious resources from the State: it’s the article signed from Pasquale Natuzzi and published on yesterday’s “Milano Finanza”, the national economic and financial daily newspaper. Through this comment he wanted to express his personal opinion about two news that had been reported on the newspapers the day before.
The first news concerns a Cerved’s research study revealing that fashion, furniture and food industries represent almost one third of the whole Italian production and labor, thus confirming the enormous value of the “made in Italy”.
The second news commented from Pasquale Natuzzi concerns a comic strip published on the New York Times to denounce the adulteration of extra virgin olive oil “made in Italy”, that is realized with olives coming from other Mediterranean countries, thus seriously damaging the image of one of the main products within the Italian agroindustrial sector.
Once again, Pasquale Natuzzi pointed out to the media and public opinion the serious problem of unfair competition, that is destroying the “made in Italy” and the District of upholstered furniture of Puglia and Basilicata.
